Not All Hospital Curtains are the Same
In a Canadian exclusive, QSD now carries the world’s first healthcare curtain that actively kills pathogens: the Endurocide® Antimicrobial & Sporicidal Disposable Curtain.
92% of curtains in healthcare settings become contaminated within one week of being re-hung, so long before they appear soiled, they’re potential causes of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) in staff, patients and visitors.
Unlike traditional, untreated curtains which can store pathogens, our curtains are treated with a patented formulation that traps and kills bacteria, mycobacteria, fungi and spores on the fabric surface, helping to prevent your curtains from becoming a source of pathogenic transmission for up to two years.
Designed for critical hospital and healthcare environments where patient care cannot be compromised. Suitable for use in hospital departments such as:
- Burn units
- Oncology wards
- Operation suites
- General surgery wards
- Cardiology wards
- Renal units
- Isolation wards
- Intensive care units
- Maternity & neonatal
- Infectious disease units
- High-dependency units
Beyond their proven clinical benefit, QSD has multiple colours, patterns and finishes to suit any interior design need. And you don’t need to replace your track installations. Remove your existing curtains, and hang up our Endurocide® disposable curtains.

European Peer Review Trial
Comparison of bacterial loading of Endurocide® Curtains against traditional cotton curtains used in-situ in a hospital ward. After 10 days swabs were taken from the edge of each curtain.
Endurocide® curtains actively prohibit and kill pathogens transferred to them over their entire lifespan of two years. Traditional curtains don’t, with 92% becoming contaminated less than a week after cleaning and being reinstalled in your healthcare setting.
